I don't think it matters. I used two bottles but towards the end of the second bottle I only took 12 per day on weights days (4 x a week) to make the bottle last to a holiday. Again, recovery not affected.
I have only ever used it in a deficit, I am sure it would do wonderful things but personally I think for me, it will be a staple of any cutting programme. It's happened again, I have just come off Anabeta elite, with good quality carbs and higher kcal yet I get stronger on MPS with very little carbs
