QUESTION: What supplements do you personally use, and why?

Nice timing; I actually just answered this in a small interview piece I just did for Predator. 

 

Testosterone Cypionate: (prescription) for cardiovascular, muscular, metabolic, and skeletal health. Lower cancer risk.

Arachidonic Acid: 250mg daily to keep my muscles responsive to resistance training. Sometimes I go higher for brief periods.

Protein: A couple of low carb shakes per day to bridge meals, or when I'm too lazy to prepare food.

Vitamin D: Metabolism, hormones, lower cancer risk

Resveratrol (Resvida): Antioxidant, cardiovascular, lower cancer risk

grape seed extract: Antioxidant, lower cancer risk

broccoli seed extract: Antioxidant, lower cancer risk, cardiovascular health

 

Keep in mind I'm less than a year away from 40. My goals have changed quite a bit; as has my training. I am much more focused on health, wellness, and longevity. This does include resistance training 5-days per week, as muscle is important for overall health. But I'm also trying to do much more cardio, I practice intermittent fasting 1 day per week... I eat less, even though I know it means I don't have a surplus of protein all the time. I'd rather stay smaller and lighter; I'm about 20-30 pounds under the weight I'd normally carry, and I feel pretty good for it I think...
