Reckon? Free range doesn't mean a great deal unfortunately.
Organic, Free range chickens aren't allowed outside for the first few weeks of their life because they aren't given any antibiotics etc so they are prone to disease. Then after a few weeks the farmer opens a door at the end of the warehouse to let them out, but 9/10 they ain't interested.
Then a couple weeks later they get killed.
So unless you know th farmer or breed your own, buying free range doesn't always mean buying free range.
