Yes, is the answer to that, I was using PNI's Prodigy before and that has its own 'Muscle Cell Volumizing Matrix' along with other NO ingredients so its not a massive difference, but to me it feels better, I think the pump also has a lot to do with sodium, water and what you've eaten before hand as well as the various ingredients in these pre workouts - I think more than anything I've noticed more of a focus/urgency to get on with things once in the gym and to me thats where it out does the Prodigy.
Todays workout was a high volume, Vince Gironda style leg day which I have done once before - this type of training really seems to be where the D-POL and the Enhanced hit hard in terms of pump, when I'd finished there was absolutely no definition in my legs due to the amount of blood that had been forced in there.
I did this workout near the beginning of my log with the D-POL and I'm pleased to say that my strength has increased even on high volume low/rest time workouts.
So the workout looked like this:-
Legs
Squats - 8 x 8 with 25ks per side (30 seconds rest)
Walking Lunges - 4 x 8 with 15kg DB's (30 seconds rest)
Leg Press - 4 x 8 with 65kgs per side (30 seconds rest)
Leg Ext - 8 x 8 with 55kgs on stack -> up to 60kgs on set 40 (30 seconds rest)
Stiff Leg Dead Lifts - 8 x 8 with 20kgs per side (30 seconds rest - wide stance/wide grip Kai Greene style)
Lying Leg Curl - 4 x 8 with 60kgs on stack.
Calves:-
Calf Press - 4 x 20/20/20/20 with 80 kgs per side (30 seconds rest)
Standing Calf Raise - 4 x 15/15/15/15 with 50kgs on stack (30 seconds rest)
Rest day tomorrow and possibly Monday as well due to me being at work from 0800 until 2100 it'll be difficult to get a workout in. I do seem to be responding well to it and I'm glad I've given it a go, hopefully the progression continues and i don't hit a plateau as I start on week 4.
