3/day caps might be to much for me. My brain feels like a wired cottonballand rhr is up about 15 beats/min. Do report back Scooby when you have been of for a few days.
I'm really glad you mentioned this because I never thought TQ might have caused this.
What I had noticed was even during a deload week my HR was maxing out on my strength lifts early. I couldn't lift as much weight as before and it had become a struggle.
For my cardio my heart rate was maxing out very quickly at what felt like no effort. I've started cycling again and from my power output meter I could tell I my power output had dropped but as I said my HR was mental.
The final thing that had me wondering what was wrong was when I went to hospital for my pre-op (op cancelled by me BTW) and they took my RHR and it was 70. When I'm sat up I'm usually low 50's, if I sit for long enough I drop into the 40's. My RHR lying down is about 41. Incidentally the hospital told me to stop taking all supplements 3 days before the op was due. Reason being no one could be sure how they would affect the general anaesthetic.
I've taken my HR this morning because tomorrow won't be wise as I'm out with friends tonight. I had some coffee 15 mins before this measurement, just fancied one as I've cut down a lot recently. Sitting here now I'm measuring 51/55 (typing raises it ), post coffee that's not to bad. My relaxation test was 46 BPM but after coffee that's what I expected, if had skipped the coffee I'd be back to normal in the low 40's.
I'm out on my bike today so will see how it goes but I'm feeling better now and last night was my best nights sleep in a long time and I've had improvements over each of the last 5 nights since I ditched TQ.
TQ seems to have had a stimulant effect on me, it's no wonder I couldn't sleep when I was on it. I also have to put my more relaxed state down to my caffeine/stim reduction even if TQ was boosting me back up .
