There is of course, a ceiling for naturals that can be overcome with AAS.
Yet, I like to think of it like this: Who among us can't lift just 1lb more on any given exercise? Extreme example, but you get my point. I think it's fair to say today's supplements can take you beyond your genetic limit, just not as far as AAS.
When I got into this market 20 years ago, they all told me nothing worked (not true). Today, the argument is that many convey an unfair advantage - so much so some are banned in sport.
Examples include ephedrine, Suma (WADA added it to their banned list) and phenyl-piracetam.
