they know that young naive lads are getting interested in BB constant ly and its their naivity they play on and the fact that they are "hungry" to get a good physique You place a photo of someone who as you say is on steroids holding a tub of protein powder or xyz and there isan assumption in the mind of the inexperienced that the product can get you like the pic .Of course its bull s==t but its not unti these novices have been training awhile that they begin to realise the truth.
unfortunately this exploitation of the naive consumer will never go away because new guys are entering into the sport constantly
i would suggest not to let the hunger take over and allow yourself to get sucked into all the hype Take a step back and be more objective , speak to others who have been training sometime, read but not something like flex , a training routine of a professional bodybuilder is not necessarily suited to joe average who hold down a job , limited budget etc .and learn as much as you can .
